Melbourne Recital Centre 2025 Season Launch: ft. ‘Our Duty to Care’ in pre-season packages and booklet ‘Ready Your Ears’
So thrilled to have attended the Melbourne Recital Centre 2025 Season Launch two weeks ago as a presenter and to finally announce the 3rd curation of ‘Our Duty to Care’, now at the MRC Salon within its 2025 Classical Season!!
It was a surreal experience to be one of 30 pre-launched concerts to ‘ready your ears’, out of the 400 incredible concerts taking place at the MRC next year I am so grateful to Marshall McGuire and his phenomenal Programming Team for their vision, and to Latoyah Forsyth and her Marketing & Visitor Exp Team for their gorgeous delivery & booklet, among so many others at the MRC.
Our Duty to Care in the dream-space that is the Primrose Potter Salon is going to be such a special moment the Ensemble & I cannot properly express the extent of our excitement!!
We are bringing a familiar yet newly catalysed curation, featuring my titular enviro-legal song cycle and other works as well as the music of Laura Abraham, Anne Cawrse and MRC’s 2024 Artist in Residence Nat Bartsch. These are all blended with 3 works across the programme by renowned Icelandic composer Olafur Arnalds.
Season packages are now currently on sale (which I highly recommend!!) , with general individual tickets on sale from November 11th here for more info! There is SO much to see and hear next year, so please indulge your senses at the Melbourne Recital Centre like we got to at the Launch with the beautiful playing of Zoe Knighton, Rohan de Korte and Rosanne Hunt.
We hope to see you at Our Duty to Care - so mark Friday 1st August 6pm in your calendars, as this will not be one to miss!!
