METAMORPHOSIS - Honours Composition 2020 Online Festival

HonComp Concert Flyer.png

The 2020 Cohort of Honours Composition at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music is proud to present our sole concert: METAMORPHOSIS (FB EVENT LINK)

Curated in the form of a 2-hour online festival, save a spot in your Wednesday night on the 28th/OCT to watch and listen to our composers exhibit some of their current and previous work from the comfort of your very own home!

Due to the continuing COVID-19 Pandemic we have opted to shift to an online platform that will display a mix of audio-visual pieces in differing formats.

Our festival will showcase the many different aesthetics of our current Honours Composition students and convey the metamorphosis of each composer, who are now solidifying their style in order to explore the world after - whether it be further study in the form of a Composition Masters, a completely different field, or freelancing!

The concert is free, between 7-9:15pm, with a brief 15min interval at 8pm to break up both sets.

(7-8pm)
SET 1: Laura Abraham, Benjamin Drury, Robert McIntyre

[15min interval]

(8:15pm-9:15pm)
SET 2: John Li, Lilijana Maticevska, Sue-Anne Tan

We hope you'll be able to attend and support us in our sole, major concert for 4th Year. We are really excited to show you what we have accomplished in this one-of-a-kind year!

An online program and YouTube premiere will be provided on the day of the concert, with profile insights into each composer to come in the next few weeks so stay tuned.

Thanks everyone and 'see' you there!!
